Set 1 Cards….XP and PXP in Season 3

Can set 1 cards accumulate xp and pxp towards season 3? If so what specific modes? I know it’s not eligible for ranked or BR and some mini seasons or conquest but was hoping for some additional clarification. Would sure be nice to grind out some progress in season 3 vs CPU with set 1 cards but if not an option then so be it. Thanks for any and all help on this.
