Let me just be clear up front, I am not looking to be a cheese bunter and I don't play online. I'm asking because I suck at bunting players over. I either hit it foul or pop-out 70% of the time.

Is there a way to deaden the ball or direct the bunt that I'm unaware of?

The best pitches to hunt are off speed….trying to bunt a fastball, especially a high one or outlier , is always risky.

Also having players with higher hunting ability is important.

Before the pitch push your right thumbstick in the direction you want the bunt to go. Then you want to time the drag bunt just like you would time a swing except you hold the button.

@raesONE-_PSN hahaha, fire with fire 🤣😂

Before the pitch is thrown press R analog stick towards 1B or towards 3B…you’ll feel the controller vibrate in confirmation…you can swap the direction as many times as necessary before the pitch is released. Triangle at last possible second to lay a perfect bunt…lay off bunt if you see the pitch coming in high and hot…whichever way you pointed will be the direction you lay the bunt

ps good bunting attrib is very helpful but not a dealbreaker if you do the rest well
