Guys, I swear, I'm not the complaining type, but you don't come to Forums to talk about all the things you enjoy, right?

Anywho, watch any MLB game and I guarantee that about 80% of check swings (on appeal) are rung up as strikes.
MLB made a point of this years ago to speed the game up.

Why is the reverse true in the game?

Plate discipline, right?

So at what % does a player have every check swing called a ball?

A check swing in the bigs is almost always a strike.
Make it so in The Show ( not [censored] likely)

Bigger problem is SDS can’t figure out how to make contact swing work as intended. Combine that with high contact/ vision hitters and they can check swing and foul off a zillion balls until RNG makes you hang one down the middle.

The number of Ground balls I've hit or had hit against me that hit the bag would make you believe it's a common occurrence that happens in every game. I had 3 of them in one game alone the other night.
