but now I’m totally overwhelmed and could use some advice. How should I utilize these players to maximize their talents? So many of them have great pitching numbers but if I slot them in as pitchers then I lose out on the hitting abilities. I can’t think of anyway to utilize both captains. Anyone care to share how they’ve got things set up…hitters or pitchers? I’ve got Satch in as my ace but tbh I keep skipping his turn due to my love for this Roki card that @samguenther1987 recommended. I missed all of season 1 with my late start and am really glad I can still use him as a wild

As far as the Sanford Greene cards go I would use Paige, Foster, Hilton Smith along with Roki for pitchers and use Robinson, Dihigo, Hank Thompson and Buck o'neil as batters. That leaves John Donaldson as either another great pitching option or great speed off the bench.

Btw the 99 versions are going to be amazing, really expensive right now but I will definitely give them a try once their prices drop. I want that 99 Satchel Paige.

That gives you 7 players which gives Buck O'Neill his biggest boost.

    +25 power bost vs R
    +25 power bost vs L
    +25 hits per 9 innings
    +25 BB per 9 innings

Hey I set it up and it worked beautifully! I brought in Rube Foster to close out the game and he threw a slurve that acted as if it were being repelled by some kind of force field that was secretly located in the bat of the cpu. Looking fwd to polishing my skills with his team with the bonuses it’ll be the best team that I’ve certainly, ever fielded. Again, many thanks
