Wondering why some players get actual pictures and face scans when called up and others don't. Big time Brewers fan and Joey Weimer has been essentially a created player through every roster update despite being on the MLB roster since training camp. Elly De La Cruz has been on an MLB roster for a month and he gets an actual picture and avatar that looks like him. Could someone please explain this to me?

Never seen it happen before they did it just now for Elly De La Cruz and I’ve been playing since 2006. Maybe he took the time to go in for a scan and nobody else did?

SDS is at the ST facilities in March,face scanning everyone who agrees to.
after that the players have to go to the studio to get it done. -
