A lot of users are going to be surprised. Not everyone watches the streams or comes to this forum for information. If this money grab decision increases revenue, then SDS will do this thing again next year and it will eventually become the norm.
lol, it's literally on the DD screen every time you log in. You don't have to watch streams or be in a forum to read the screen in front of your face.
Log into DD, look at the giant square box on the top right of your screen. This really...really.....really isn't complicated.

Is this a joke? I'm assuming you're trolling, but if not:
They announced sets and how they worked a week or two before the game launched. When you first booted up DD, there was a 4 slide tutorial that explained it to you, you couldn't skip this, everyone read it. When you look at the top right of your screen in DD it says "Season squad set requirements". There's a button to press for details (I don't know what it is on xbox).
You've had set specific conquest maps, set specific mini-seasons. Every time you set up your squad you see the "wildcard" spot. Did you never ask yourself what that might be for?
If you HONESTLY had no idea, and you spent $100's on the game.....whew. I've got some Lincoln memorial medallions I'd love to sell you. They are dated and highly collectable. $500 for a roll of 50!

This is unreal, people spend time and money to get these cards and now they make all set 1 ineligible? Convenient they don’t say this before you buy stubs to complete programs. Are refunds being provided for those of us who spent hundreds of dollars for stubs to upgrade our squads?

Rule Change for Diamond Dynasty Season 3
This feels like a hand out for those who don’t grind out the programs and complain when they can’t compete online. All I know is this is a backwards mindset and if not corrected, Madden 24 is out soon. Sad if one of the hands down best videos games for the last decade now starts to lose diehard everyday players to “even” the playing field for fare weathered fans.
The idea is dumb, but have you been playing the show underneath a rock? It explains it in the game several places.

Wait until they find out other games charge money for each season. Sniper Elite 5 charges $30 for each season.
