Steals are a gimme in 2023.
Any suggestions for stealing against cpu on rookie?
Hold down R2 so the pitcher can't do anything. Click L2 to initiate the steal once you release. Take an extra step with L1. Make sure the pitcher has come completely set. Release R2 and enjoy the great jump. I got all 10 steals in two and a half conquest games. I had 4 steals with Craig Biggio in a single inning with him in the leadoff spot by stealing both 2nd and 3rd each time.
That's what I use, the good old Ransom method. I haven't seen him on here in ages. Haven't seen his youtube videos show up on my recommended either. Gonna have to check and see if he is still making videos. He always had some good tips.

Pretty sure just ranked seasons you wont be able to use set 1. And there will be requirements for conquest and some other “single” player mode

No, they have not clarified.
My guess is that any offline content specifically tied to Season 3 programs will be limited to sets 2 and 3. You could still use set 1 in
Nation of Baseball conquest
Default Mini Season
Any Season 1 or 2 conquests or mini seasons that have not expired.

Try going against the SF Giants at the Sandlot. I have a team that is laughable…my only 99 is April Matt Chapman, I have 3 95s (Marsh, Estrada, Suwinski), 3 97s (Gurriel jr, Heim, Mateo), and 2 98s (Freeman and Wander Franco)…all of which are from the April and May monthly program. I alternate the order so it’s L,R,L,R etc…with a few S scattered in when I have them.
I hung 32 runs on the SF Giants today while grinding at the Sandlot with clear skies, rookie, and 1pm and I’m terrible…I really really am! I don’t know if I uncovered a secret combination that results in a glitch or not but the last 3x I did this and played the SF Giants it’s like the pitchers just were grooving it in there and I was basically just hitting the x button and watching it sail out of that teeny tiny field.
Check my profile if you need to make sure…and look at my other scores and you’ll see that I suck. I only scored 6 against the Nats on same settings with same team!
Every inning it was 4 digit xp. Try it with y’all’s teams and see if this doesn’t do the trick quickly!
What stadium is THE SANDLOT?? Is that a created stadium or something??? I’m only on a ps4 so no created stadiums for me

The cards are only good for collections anyway. I’ll do the stats towards Aaron or Wright cuz I already have Randy. At this point who uses 97 or below? Maybe good for theme teams
I will use all these guys in some kind of team building for the next RS program.
Good on you. These cards will go in my binder to lock them in for someone better. I play my best cards for League play. Done doing RS or BR.
These cards and the new Tops now will get me 10 away from David Wright and my last pick of season 2.

I love David Wright fwiw. Rarely does a new legend I wanted in the game also come with immediate success but that’s the case thus far with Wright.

If I’m doing SB stuff I find a lot of the Future Stars guys have good speed ratings. Stealing attribute sadly is hit or miss though.

I really don’t mind grinding for programs because it gives me xp and something to play for. Only problem is all these cards are pretty useless. Plus the topps now Aranado captain today boost contact and power vs left which he’s already maxed out on. Lol
️Isn't that how all Captain Cards work? They boost the rest of the team in something they are already good at. They are not really meant to boost themselves.
