I saw an advertisement in a catalog once (might of been fingerhut) that showed this single pair of underwear that had two people in it facing one another and they were called “Fundies”

Bahahaha I’m sorry! I was playing thru the incognito moments and there it was….the big fundy. What does it even mean? What can I say…it unearthed an ancient memory in my dust laden mind. This was exactly 40 years ago - my buddy and I were on our way to karate class riding in the back of their orange Vega looking at that catalog and saw the ad for ‘fundies’.

Ok I’ll give you a little more…while processing this memory it dawns on me that I don’t even know karate at all but I know we took classes….but what was the impetus? Then the light goes off! I go over to IMDB and look up the movie “The Karate Kid” and there’s the answer…1984! The very same year we took the lessons. We wanted to defeat the Cobra Kai and i can’t remember a single move I was taught except this handy little backhanded knuckle flip to the bridge of the nose (hurts like a mofo)…oh and fundies.
Curse you SDS (and perry the platypus!) for the big fundy. That’s all I’ve got now, I’m tapped.

Thank you! Makes much more sense than “Fun with King Kong Bundy” OR….the other thing I mentioned, which, now that I think about it, are both fundamentally flawed.
