Early 20th Century Legends

I would like to see an option on player edits for NO batting helmets. It always looks kind of ridiculous for Ruth, Gehrig, Wagner, Foxx, and other Legends who never wore batting helmets have to wear them.

I might get behind this idea simply due to the fact that your name is Ralph. I always wished that were my name as it’s so fun to say. Makes me think of Ralph Bryant and his 1987 Donruss card - what a puss he had. Coincidentally he’s one of those guys who left the US to play in Japan and became a god…little ‘g’ god but still.
My concession is this: I would happily sign off on Babe Ruth with no batting helmet as long as every time he hits a bomb I would need him to circle the bases in 3 seconds like the old footage.

You could take that well past those players. Batting helmets weren’t mandatory until 1971.

You may have to lower their durability stat though..
