All Star Too Easy, HOF Too Hard
-
In the 800s the scores tend to be higher on HOF. I feel like I have to score a minimum of 6 runs to win if I am playing someone in that area
-
This is funny I was saying this this morning I played 2 ranked games the first on All Star and I was facing Bob Gibson I was literally early on everything. I won and the next game was on HOF….mother of god lol. I still won but man. I hadn’t played HOF in a few weeks
-
Keep at it, you'll get used to HOF and the games will be more realistic scores like 5 - 4, 2-1 etc.

Been stuck in All Star and jeez is this frustrating
Everybody swings at everything and makes contact. Foot above the zone, foot below, doesn’t matter. You cannot get the ball past anyone just becomes a 12-11 slow pitch softball game
Yet when you get to HoF (if you can, All Star is such a crapshoot) it’s the complete opposite. Games turn in to 2 to 1 (hits) deadball grinders, with each pitcher racking up 15 Ks
They need to do something with the timing windows on these levels or something. Seems like All Star should not be this easy to hit a baseball and HOF this difficult.
Anyone else in this weird middle ground?YES…All-Star is ridiculously easy & Hall of fame plays like Legend used to. On AS I can put up infinite runs & can’t throw anything by anyone. On HOF it’s basically whoever scores first wins. Never had a problem on HOF in previous versions of The Show but now it’s as you said - 2 or 3 hits a game. What’s even weirder is once I’m over 700, I’ll play someone who has a .350 or better average with everyone in their lineup & I’ll hold them to 2 or 3 hits the entire game. It’s just bizarre.

Hall of fame and up is made for the aged 29 and below players. Obviously there will be a few guys with good reaction 30+ but I guarantee that the majority of players 30+ cannot play on HOF or Legend.

Beyond bizarre. I gave up on RS this time. (Sorry Stan) I started too late and grinded my life away last night and the result is almost precisely what you posted. Its been several years since I've had fun playing RS. This game mode needs an overhaul.

Wrong

These comments just show me how bad I really am. I’m late all the time on all star nor can I cover the zone as well as I should be able to. Been playing since ‘15. The game has advanced, I have not.

A large portion of this game are 30+ including those that make World Series on a regular basis

I am 41 and feeling it when I play! I can make it into the 800s, but it is TOUGH! I do not have the reaction time the kids have, so I have to rely on my baseball knowledge and really have to guess at what pitch is coming next. Otherwise I can’t get around on it

Try shutting off the pci. that helped my pitch recognition. Sounds crazy but by not having a pci its 1 less thing to worry about.
Or you can turn the pitch speeds all the way down in practice and focus on seeing the ball and waiting back. I'm not the best but this helped to get a little better.

Haha I am with you! I'm 43! The only way I can keep up is if I drink a crapload of caffeine before I start playing competitively! Lol

Even then, my hands start getting jittery and I can't put the PCI where I want it! It's a lose lose situation for me! Hahahha

I am 40 years old and I think I can hold my own on HOF but I am just very inconsistent day to day. There are times like yesterday where I can put up 16 hits and score 9 or runs (and still lose). And other days I would be lucky to to score a couple runs. I struggle more with the finesse cutter, sinker over the hard throwers due to pci placement.

I'm 38 and HOF outlier bends me over and violates me
You give me mid 90's guys and I'm solid. I just pray I guess right every now and then. Currently at like 840
