Poor Lou. They boosted his speed and bunting to get him to a 97 while giving him sub par hitting. Talk about some disrespect. SDS really is out here squeezing everyone.

Sub par hitting? This is what happens when people are spoiled with cards juiced to the max. 107/90 and 96/83 aren't exactly scrub numbers.

Like others have said it's a free 97, his 99 rakes and is only 20k, he has one of the best swings in the game so his attributes will play above average

Buy 99 is absolutely a real thing this year, but getting a free Lou Gehrig card has nothing to do with that. I thought it was a cool thing they did with that.

I wouldn’t say they are “nowhere else,” because they’re also on the market. You don’t have to buy stubs to earn them, meaning you don’t have to buy the 99’s that are only in packs and the market.

I was happier with the bat grip. I was following the collections and I think I only had to buy 2 gold ones for around 2k each and I just sat on them. With the other diamond grips they have given us that made 6 so I got the diamond equipment pack. So I got a 97 Lou and 20k in stubs, not bad.

Just odd because his 99 is nowhere near as good as some of the other 99s and he along with Mays who also has a sub par 99 have gotten that treatment 2 years in a row. Hoping there will be another down the road. Griffey and Morgan too. These are inner circle HoFers.

The exact same amount it takes a 99 to go to 101. I know right, who cares if it has +100 more in game attributes than the other it’s the same rating lmfao.
