Retired numbers/Legends

I noticed that with some of the Legends, Hank Aaron in particular, that of you sign him to the Braves, his number will automatically change. He can't wear 44. But, other Legends, Nolan Ryan as an example, won't have a problem. He can wear 30 with the Angels and 34 with the Astros and Rangers. Is it just me or is it a glitch?
Also, would like to see them add in the future that if one of the current players retires and gets elected to the HOF, that their number automatically retires and you can have a retirement ceremony. Say Pete Alonso get into the HOF, the Mets retire his number.

Also noticed that Ryan Zimmerman's number 11 isn't on display at Nats Park. And, the home team graphic (which I think is actually really cool) will display Gary Carter's 8 Andre Dawson's 10 as retired numbers. They aren't retired by the Nats. They were when they were still the Expos.

10 was also for Rusty Staub and 30 for Tim Raines.

You're right about Rusty Staub. Forgot about him. Which is unforgivable seeing as how I'm a Mets fan and he has a special place in Mets fans hearts.
