Marcelo Ozuna

I know I know. Ozuna has a terrible track record as a human being , and he legit stole 16 mil from the Braves last year. Will all of off field stuff prevent SDS from giving him better cards?
Still a ways to go this month but he is actually playing well in May. 330 ish average , 6 homers and several rbis. Would they consider him for a potm if the numbers are there?

If he performs well enough then I would say that there is a chance.
Per fangraphs as of right now (I don't know if it has updated with todays games)
There are 15 players with 6 or more HRs this month
There are 13 players with at least 15 RBIs
There are 16 guys with a .333 or better averageSo he is in the mix but so are a lot of other players at the moment.

Not even saying he deserves it or not numbers wise. I’ve not done the proper leg work. My question was more or less is he off the table for program cards and the like due to his colorful off field life.

I would hope not if he earned it at the end of the month by being in the top 4 or 5 offensive players.
Now if it boils down to a coin toss between Ozuna and another player then I think they would favor the less controversial player.

I mean we still get an Aroldis Chapman card every year, so I don’t think his off field stuff matters, unfortunately.
