Freezing in Co-op with cross platform

I play in the Xbox one and usually play co-op with my friends on the ps5 or ps4. The problem I’m having is that most games end up freezing after I hit a foul ball specifically. It is really frustrating as I can’t get through a game of co-op. Is anybody else running into this same issue?

Freezes without crossplat too, game is just bad

If the game freezes on coop and you get a cooldown penalty, on ps5, you can still play ranked coop by joining a game through a different method
