Maybe I am dating myself age wise, but I can't believe players don't feel bad about asking for a friendly when losing. My son does it, too, when losing -- it makes me cringe. I have also told him many times to stop asking for a friendly quit while he's losing. Play the game or just quit through the menu.

I have no problems with people asking before games, I just have a problem with players asking when they're getting waxed.

I never do but the answer to the question you don’t ask is always no.

It makes me cringe as well. When people offer a friendly to me when they are losing, I say to myself “So, you surrender all masculinity.”

I’ve never quit when losing. Always play out games. There’s gotta be some psychological defect with trying to “trick” people into conceding. The quitting and whining about losing is off the charts in this game. It’s one thing if you’re getting waxed and you “move on” from the game but trying to ask for a friendly is straight up bizarre.

I agree with you! However when Bob Gibson is pitching I don’t even ask for a friendly, I just quit. I’m done with Bob. I play two online games per night and at least one is always vs Bob.

I ve asked friendly quits a couple times down a run while I had runners on bases. Both times I needed to leave soon. One accepted of the two. Sometimes things come up

A pro of the sets phasing out for sure.

Really? lol. FQ erases the whole game, like it didnt happen. Quitting out the menu gives you the loss and stats count.

I rarely play online and I did not know that. It does not seem like anyone would accept a friendly quit. I still do not see how someone is upset that a family member tried to quit in a friendly manner instead of just disappearing.
