I lucked into completing the LS collection
-
This is the first year I really haven't flipped at all. However, I started buying up all the Core WBC cards from the BR program with any spare stubs I had at QS prices (primary golds). Those things didn't move in price for weeks... Until yesterday. I had hundreds of them, and when the dust cleared from selling, I magically had 900k stubs. A Mookie pull on Tuesday combined with the stubs put me over the top. Oddly, I think this earliest I've finished.
Where are you guys at?

Very nice! I had some great pulls day one so that helped me get it done super fast this year. That collection helps greatly for the fire collection now!
-
Congrats! I still need most of the big guys: Judge, ohtani, trout, the two high mets, the two cards, and mookie.
Gonna be awhile for this offline only grinder.
-
Very little flipping. Had Sosa done for a while. Pulled 99 Ohtani over the early access weekend and sold him this past week to finish the AL
-
Well based on the laughable rewards you certainly didnt get it done by playing the game.
But Iโve been done. Jeter sneaky good.
-
Mookie, Goldy, and Arenado. I have 240k after pulling Harper in the Kaiju pack before getting Billy Williams.
-
Got it done about a week ago, also the earliest i've finished it. Now working on getting to 130 cards in set 2 so I can take Randy Johnson
-
I wonโt be completing them anytime soon after the most recent roster update. I havenโt been working the market much or making investments but the one I did make in Gerrit Cole looks like a disaster. I shouldโve sold after the jump to 90. Didnโt anticipate the drop yesterday after one bad outing. His numbers overall are better than Strider but he jumps to 90 and meanwhile baseballโs best hitter Acuna is still at 89. Really odd update.

900K-ish away (pulling Trout, Goldy, Judge twice helps!)
Outside of Padres (who I completed pre-Tatis), trying to go literally NMS, pulling every card via pack. I mean โฆ why not?

Still need gold nado and mookie

Smart move man. I wish I had the patience to pull those investments off. That was solid.
I finished LS this week. Getting Shohei twice in a few weeks helped and flipping has also been helpful although the margins are just barely starting to open up enough. Congrats dude. Have you used Sammy, Jeter or McGuire?
-
Is there a preferred time to buy players? I know you want to get them as cheap as possible; but I mean are prices lower in the mornings compared to evenings? Weekends compared to weekdays? I do know they may drop a few thousand stubs when new packs are released or new content is dropped.
-
I'm still only about halfway there. No money spent, but not flipping or anything either, so I actually feel ok with where I am at just from playing the game. I haven't even had any lucky pulls, just all low diamonds. I finished the AL West which felt good, at least I got Wagner.
-
Just finished the NL a couple days ago after saving up enough stubs to buy Verlander and Diaz. Pulled Mookie and Arenado early on which helped a ton. Also pulled 2 Machados while he was going for around 80k in the Tatis return panic.
Had all the low diamonds done for AL, just needed Judge, DeGrom, Trout and Ohtani. And then I pulled Judge yesterday. Now just 3 away from completing, this will definitely be the earliest I've finished the entire LS collection

I used Jeter in a TA2 conquest game. First AB was a bloop single to right. Working as designed. He will be my best hitter for the rest of the season as that is exactly how I hit... Late/late off PCI.
-
I havenโt done any flipping this year since I always end up with crazy amount of stubs at the end. I am Mookie, Goldy, and Arenado away from finishing
