Do you do it to gain a pitching advantage? Cuz I can’t see squat when I’m hitting during a day game. I just quit cuz it’s a waste of time for me.

Some may do it because of pitcher quirks but I do agree it sucks for the most part. When I play day games, I make sure to put it on overcast weather

It only sucks when guys play at 11am and the sun blazes off the batters eye. Although, I haven't had the issue yet this year. But mostly because what Hikes said above for player quirks. A lot of these current cards perform better during day games.

Most probably play day games because that's the default setting.

Perhaps its just my confirmation bias but I feel like the ball flies farther in summer day games vs night games.

It's all about ones TV/Monitor brightness and contrast settings. Get them dialed in correctly and it's EZ to see the ball in day games unless you are dealing with infield shadows.

That’s all fine and dandy but not everyone knows (optimally) or even wants to change settings everytime they go into a game

Removed the wind now the Sun is a problem.

But you can create a absolutely horrible stadium and dress up like a clown so all is good.

I do June, 1 PM. there never seems to be an issue with glare or shadows. People may 'prefer' a night game, but a full sunlight day game is not much different once you get used to it.

I think it is more of a combination of stadium shape and time of day that causes it. I usually just pick a stadium at random but try to play at 1 PM since that has never caused problems but have always felt baseball was meant to be played in the daytime.

I played a game against a cheeser yesterday that in addition to the usual cheeser idiocy chose a time of day where 80% of the game it was almost impossible to see. This type of player deserves a lifetime ban, but unfortunately SDS will do nothing to stop it.
