So I am a WS player, I am just prefacing this post because I like to play where the pitch speeds are fastest. I want to be capable of competing on legend.

Anyway, I started playing on my 55 inch TV and am laying off balls much easier. The ball just looks so huge and easy to read compared to everything feeling so small playing on a monitor. Even though my TV is 60hz and 13 ms input lag, I'm not doing so bad.

I was wondering if anybody bought the 120hz capable LG C2 or C1 TV and plays just as well on it over playing on a monitor? It is a big investment, so I guess I am just looking for someone out there that actually made the rare switch from monitor back to tv, because I haven't heard a story about it! Thanks!

I’m like you I bought a monitor specifically for the show. Played on it and went back to my 55” tv. It’s much more enjoyable for me personally. I sucked playing on the monitor as well as playing on my TV but atleast I enjoy it better on a bigger screen lmao

Ha that's cool. Yeah it's interesting to hear people's experiences, because I initially did so much better with a monitor, but now that TV's response times are just as good, I'm not so sure.

So I recently did a comparison. I bought the Gigabyte M28U and I already had the LGCX 65”. I think I actually play better on the CX. The ball is easier to see and read. I bought the M28U on a whim just for fun to try it out. Honestly it’s a waste of $550. I’m not sure if it’s a clarity thing or response time or something but the tv seems much better to me.

Thanks I think if you could manage getting a c1 or 2 it would be even better. I plan on giving the monitor to my sons so no biggie.

Yeah I am really leaning towards getting the 55 inch C2! No more sitting with my face crouched over a screen lol

I highly recommend the oled c1 or c2 a lot of people dont know they actually have faster response times than any monitor. Im in world series and play on the 55 inch so I can def vouch for it. It will take a while to get used to but worth it

Get it. Bought my 65” C1 a couple years ago and it’s one of the few things I’ve never had buyers remorse about lol

Comfortably sit on my couch and make World Series it’s great

LG OLEDs are amazing. And by the end of this year they, will be everywhere. OLED TV's and monitors. People with LED/LCD Monitors will be behind.

Series X with the LG C2 . Used to have the C7 . Well still have it just moved it to the right so now I can watch bb and play it at the same time!

C2 is awesome though. You won't regret it.
