105 only in that Moment in Storylines. Other than that it is 102 (sometimes maybe you'll see 103) but definitely no 105mph in DD!

I am not playing this years version, but Cool Papa Bell is a must.

I’d be ok with them just releasing better versions of the existing cards. There are some fun players in the mix but they really aren’t useable online even with captains boost.

I was not aware of that announcement. That is terrible. All that hype for a program that could be completed in an hour, and then nothing the rest of the year? I’ve been hoodwinked into buying this game.
Did they say whether or not the players in the storylines will be getting better versions of their cards? Clearly Jackie will but what about the others?

I love the vibe, the uniforms, the stadiums, the stories...what a great addition.
But for DD players it also feels like a massive afterthought. The players have been lapped by all the 99's raining down weekly.
It feels like a launch-day thing that's soon forgotten. Which feels, then, disrespectful.

So was using Jazz as the cover.
At a certain level gamesmanship if the audience.
The games intro is the absolute worst ever as well.
Spinning the Jazz thing. I should be pumped up to play the game after the intro scenes.I was pumped up at great intro's like the one in MVP 05 with Manny on the cover.
The fact that Josh Gibson is NOT in the game is a total fail if we are talking negro leagues at any level.

next year but I'd love it if they add missions to the 90 ovrs to upgrade to higher ovr cads each season. Jackie was the only one that was in DD before so it'll be interesting how they handle future cards for him,

gotta disagree with you here. That intro got me super pumped to play the game and they said this is the first season of Negro League storylines... they have to keep some players for next year and beyond.

I agree. They could be exchanges or something. Same players. Same positions and secondary positions, same Greene series, you just have to exchange the old card for the upgrade. That way people still have to do the storyline to get the better card, and we will all be able to use the cards in DD.

Dude only hits 105 in the storyline. Dude rarely hits 100 when used in DD. He is not usable unless you want to give up tons of runs his pitches are impossible to tunnel. But have fun using him if you like him so much.
