Just lost a game 8-7. Fielding cost me once again. That’s at least 10 losses due to my inability to get used to it. But that’s not even my concern for this particular game. Dude had 18 hits to my 11…….1 bomb and I think I had 5. At least 5 of his hits were on pitches that I threw a foot inside but he swung anyway and got a blooper. Is this an example of someone using directional hitting??? Curious what people think.

try out directional yourself and you'll see why no one uses it. I dont think you can even hit pitches out of the zone with directional.

I’ll try it maybe in a conquest game but I can’t use it online. It would feel like putting training wheels back on.

Directional hitting is awful for hitting pitches outside the plate. There is a reason it's a midway decent to use when gravity balls were a thing, but located pitches destroys it

No this is proof the game is bad. SDS covered it up with high diamonds right off the bat. Now that we are getting good pitchers, it’s starting to show. Bloop hits, bs foul balls.

I noticed one ranked game that the guy was obviously using directional. He had an amazing eye, but I just threw pitch after pitch in the lower right corner. Nothing else. He couldn't square up single pitch unless the ball floated to the middle.

Yes!!! I pounded this guy inside and he swung at everything. Most of his hits were bloops unless like you say, the ball floated over the middle. Dude only had 1 home run to my 6. But he had 18 hits to my 11.
