More Player Appearances??

Hi! Every year I love to make equipment updates to all the players on a roster so that I can play franchise games with everyone having unique looks. My issue is that when SDS updates player faces it doesn’t update to the rosters I make the edits on so I was wondering if anyone (especially devs) had any idea on if/when more players are going to be added. I feel there are a lot missing this year and I don’t want to get stuck either with generic faces or having to redo all my edits.
