I know Judge doesn’t have 99 speed; however, 49 and 54, which are his speed attributes on the Captain card and his LS card, are a bit low. I think people assume he isn’t as fast as he is due to his size, but he deserves a 65 or 70. Not that I can hit with his cards because his strike zone is enormous, but I was just making an observation.
I also noticed his defense: 76 fielding on his LS? Didn’t he used to have fielding in the 90s? The guy stole 2hrs from Ohtani yesterday, and regular makes diving and jumping catches, stopping hits and runs. I guess if the boosted his speed and defense the LS would have too high of an overall though.
Sorry for my rant, please don’t mind my running mind.

Painful day to have Ohtani hitting in my fantasy league. Curse you Judge.

The speed attribute for current players is probably the most accurate attribute they have. It's directly based on statcast sprint speed, where Judge is in the same range as Yuli Gurriel, Josh Naylor, Matt Olson, Gleyber Torres, and oddly enough JD Martinez. 54 might be generous

Is Wander Franco a 67 based on sprint speed?

He's got the same sprint speed as Austin Riley, who also has 67 speed, so I would say so yes. It's obviously not going to be exactly spot on because they only update the speed attributes at Launch and the allstar break(Shohei is due for a speed downgrade as he is in the range of Riley and Franco too). For the most part though, it's pretty accurate

I definitely thought Judge was a little faster than his rating... doesn't matter when you are hitting dingers but when the ball doesn't go over the fence it can definitely be dicey as to if he'll get that extra base or not depending on where the ball lands in the field of play.

Can the MVP get better vision. That low vision for years has to be raised.

Besides speed, why do some of the best outfielders in baseball have Silver defense. Is it so they run the opposite directions on their first move to open up the alleys when a ball is hit?

My biggest problem with the Judge cards this year are his defensive attributes. He has the strongest arm in baseball - They gave him 88…He is the best defensive right fielder in baseball, Even better than Mookie - They gave him 51 reaction & 76 fielding…Yet in the past he’s always been 90+ across the board. It just is mind boggling.

He did have 90s defensive attributes in the last couple of years games, right? I don’t know if he is the best, but he is one of the best. I don’t know why they dropped them. I honestly think it has something to do with his hitting attributes being what they are; by keeping him with 90s defensive attributes they would have to raise his overall rating. That 76 fielding and 51 reaction is absolutely a brain scratcher.
    Just my opinion.

Maybe if he lowers that 35-40% k rate, but thats pretty consistent so I doubt it.
