The new throwing meter
-
No matter how much I play I can’t get used to it. I’m good for 2 errors per game at a minimum. I absolutely hate it!

Years of using the same meter makes for a difficult adjustment, but I like that defense matters at 1B now.
It helped me to anticipate the different meter when it’s a difficult play.

I doubt many use it online when you have easier choices . It should be locked on for ranked . So should zone hitting .
Competitive ranked . Not really.

I honestly think most people are just running on plays where it would be an obvious out, just to see if there’s an error. It’s extremely frustrating. I didn’t realize it could be turned off?

Meter throwing is the only way to avoid errors. The others are based of attributes as well as your first baseman’s fielding attributes. This goes for all options people complain about. The harder the setting, the more rewarding it is to use. It just used to be incredibly easy to get green compared to now. People definitely use others online, but they will randomly get errors instead of user based ones. If you use timing hitting, you will get pop ups and grounders in the regular based on your attributes. If you wanna hit .450 you have to do it yourself.

I think most have gotten use to it already. Unfortunately.

It needs to be harder. Green zone should be cut in half

I disagree. At least not this first year. Give us all a chance to master it first…

I was using buttons, not button accuracy offline all year, but when I tried events and BR, I used the meter. Made two errors on tough plays deep in the hole. You have to be on your toes!
