Player not moving in the field

I am currently playing in 2020 version. I am well into my career, but today I was playing a game, and had my first chance at a fly ball in the fifth. The player did not move, so I thought "no doubt homer". 2 innings later routine fly ball, again, player would not move.
This time I was moving the joystick like crazy and nothing would happen. Hitting was fine, baserunning was fine, but I literally could not move my outfielder. I tried unplugging my controller, which was working fine before this. I haven't touched the settings for RTTS since I started playing.
Any suggestions where to check?

You're one of the people I would ask.
If your stick is working fine in the menu or other games, that's not it. There's always the dreaded re-install.

If your stick is working fine in the menu or other games, that's not it. There's always the dreaded re-install.Thankfully it was working normally when I logged on yesterday. I still don't know what happened. System was working very oddly that day.
I also had issues with DD where it said I was not connected to internet when system booted me out of a game, yet my computer was on in the same room and I successfully opened up 2 different websites with zero problem.
I then got back into the game, and it did not record it as a loss, but I then played a conquest game and at the end where I got my reward I got a card and a "quit/disconnect" notice too. I suspect that was from the earlier issue.
Things are back to normal for me.
