Switching Ballplayer and position

I have a Shortstop right now but would like to switch to a Catcher. I want to make a whole new Ballplayer with the new position so it doesn’t mess with my shortstop guy. Is there a way to get different skill sets for the new guy? Like a different reward path?

hit the square button when on RTTS in the main menu. Then start over. When going back to your SS change your player in the upper left of main screen and by loading your career with the square button on RTTS. You have to change both.

It will be for a whole new ballplayer. Just choose another focus and position. You will have to start your progression from the beginning though.
