Is the pitching meter not working for others?

I’ve been playing event tonight and I’m consistently having the meter land in the bar or past the bar for a late throw and the pitch goes absolutely bonkers. Then after the pitch the box claims my pitch was very early, and this is happening two or three pitches an at bat. It’s almost unplayable because i can’t throw a pitch. Please let me know if anyone else is having similar issues with the pitching meter.

Yeah happens to me too. I'll throw low and away and time it perfectly but it ends up a foot above the zone. Usually happens during an AB and stops for game or 2.

same here, I think it is just something to do with lag in online play. (I was playing ranked when it happened)

Happens to me too.
Not just online either. Threw a pitch earlier tonight that was a perfect release (Meter pitching) and the ball went 10 feet from where it was supposed to! After the pitch, the info on the bottom left said the Pitch Release was "Very Early".
Really hope the Update at 7 am fixes this.
It's awful.
If you slightly miss a release there is a severe penalty...but if you severely miss a release there is only a slight penalty. That's bass-backwards.

It just did it to me for 2 straight games online. Perfect release but feedback will say it’s “very late”

im on meter and something felt really off last night too - lets just blame SDS for their continued mismanagement of so many things lol
