I don't mind helping with "where/how can I get this card"? questions. Other people acquiring cards (only marginally) affects me.

But I'm out there hustling for stubs like everyone else (and dealing with the early-cycle garbage margins).

Whatcha mean by "early-cycle garbage margins?"

Check out LS silver and bronze, see how the difference in buy now/ sell now is only about 30-60 stubs or less.
when the demand fades those margins will be 2-3 times that. not just those categories I mentioned it's all of them at this point.

There’s a difference between “investing” and “flipping.” There are lots of good videos on YouTube, but what you’re describing is “investing.” Buy low, plan to sell high. “Flipping” is more along the lines of day trading — buy some cards with a good margin and sell them right back ASAP.

I’ve gotten rich flipping uniforms. I don’t care if everyone hears. Go flip some unis bros. There’s plenty of fake money for everyone!

Any particular sets of unis? Golds or Diamonds? I saw some decent margins on a few...

I'm assuming people do this right? Beginning of the season, a lot of players with underrated cards that are starting off the season super hot.

I was wondering what low cards you guys might be picking up to hopefully flip later? Guessing that their rating shoots way up in the first update.

I'll give a hint as to what I do. In years past, I would flip like crazy. This year, I just don't have the time. But, I do "invest".

In past years, I would buy up non-live-series cards at Quicksell values when it made sense. For example, this year I'm buying up the Gold BR rewards. They've trended right down to QS value. In past seasons, these cards tended to trend back up once the season ended and they're not available (at least until "rewind" packs come out).

So... not sure if it will work this year. But I will typically take a flyer on any non-LS card selling near QS value.

I think everyone should go out and start buying them up immediately. I cannot confirm nor deny that I have hundreds of these in my inventory, but I will be happy to sell them to you at 2,500 today.

I think my biggest "win" investing was buying up hundreds and hundreds of TA7 golds and he went diamond during the last roster update of the year. Maybe 2021? When Diamonds were a minimum of 5,000 QS. Ah, the good ol' days.

I usually keep an eye on golds then see how the real world counterparts perform in the season.

Going after the BR golds amd silvers (any BR card to be honest) is really smart because come the big collection(s) everyone is going to want them and the event cards to complete it quickly.

Last year, you could bank on this. I'm curious to see if it holds true this year.

I feel like such a rookie. What do you mean BR cards? Just the ones that show up in the BR drafts?

I'm confused why those specifically matter? No wonder I suck at this game. I don't know anything! Lol.

No worries! I'm talking about the rewards you get from playing BR (Battle Royale). There are 4 Diamonds, 4 Golds and 4 Silvers you can earn. People might need these for "collections" later on.

Yea margins frk suck right now

I don't see it getting any better this year with the steady release of 99s from day 1.

Yes... investing is a solid strategy to keep a steady flow of stubs. It usually pays off if you pickup guys that get good upgrades during updates. I usually flip more than invest, but right now margins are tight and competition is fierce. Seems like anytime I find a decent margin... after 2 or 3 flips somebody comes in and kills the margins. This market is easy to profit from, just have to put in a little effort.
