depends on Buck Showalter's contract and if he allows for his likeness to be in the game or not.

If Buck doesn't want to sign an NIL deal, there's not much SDS or MLBPA can do about it.

It has to be a licensing issue because they put in Joey Cora & Jeremy Heffner as assistant coaches and I know they were not in prior games.

I'd also argue they do care about the little things since they launched the game with the OG Samsung megaboard, added Westminister bell chimes at Yankee Stadium & the Edwin Diaz intro. (Though I would love if they updated the LED wall ribbons)
