I.... actually enjoy showdown

Big fan of showdown. My only wish is for more/different moments and bosses to add variety.
-
See im the opposite did 1st inning showdown 1st try and the division showdowns i cant seem to crack maybe it was cause when i did the 1st inning jawn it was pre apocalyptic patches

Welcome to the club, we’ve been waiting.
-
I love it, my favourite offline mode
-
Showdown is fun, I enjoy the edge of your seat can't screw this up to game play. I talk so much $hit during the process. I love it!
-
I'd rather be strung up by my testicles than to play showdown ever again.
-
I don't mind it, i just don't like mini showdowns. Should be only worried about 1 showdown only, the final one

You can just skip to the end then

Why did i not think of that? [censored] man, good advice.

Its a big sigh of relief and satisfaction when beating a showdown after failing about 4x in a row. Lol

I just thought of a hypothetical , let's say I have Rizzo come to the plate with 15 outs left, he gets a single.
Next 8 batters all get out on fly balls, Rizzo still at first.
Does Rizzo come up with Rizzo on the base? Can I have two Rizzo's on base?
-
I've been enjoying it as well. The starter and 1st inning showdown were pretty cool. I've only tried the AL East Showdown so far, but I was able to knock it out on the second attempt after getting owned by Sale on my first attempt. It's a good idea and an interesting way to build your lineup and perks!

I always get scared to fail, so i play them at a slower pace, mix them in with M2O and it's helped me enjoy both of those modes so much. Despite how pissed I sometimes can get.. lol.

Never even thought of this. I genuinely wonder what would happen now

Actually had this happen lol. The game replaced the runner, though I didn't think to look to see who was put on base.

I really like the mode, and only succeeded once I learned it’s all about patience.
One thing that has screwed me over twice, though... playing mini bosses, if you have one out left and score enough runs to win but then after the game-winning run scores you make the last out on the basepaths (like the guy who drove in the winning run(s) gets tagged out between bases), you lose. That makes no sense to me.

Yeah, honestly early I was swinging freely, I think it was just my assumption "oh, I'm playing the computer, so easy mode time". Now that I actually pay close attention and take patient at-bats, I'm seeing better results.

I would probably like the mode a whole lot more if when you are hitting, it doesn't feel like you are hitting softballs. I just did one and lined up a whole bunch of balls that basically went nowhere. 1000 stubs is pointless when you have zero idea what kind of game you're going to get that particular time you enter.
-
Showdown 1st Inning is an easy way to make stubs. It’s pretty easy to make 2,000 to 4,000 stubs per entry. Once you figure out how to beat it, it’s an easy grind.
