Is online literally this bad?

Like I played my 2nd ranked season game of the year, buddy was 0-0 and I could throw one pitch he wouldn’t knock out of the park. Like I felt I was playing the Mike Trout of online play. I’ve been playing this game far over 12 years, and I got destroyed on 5 innings to some guy playing his first online game.

PCI hitting is OP.

could have been an experienced player who waited to build his team first or for all the top players to advance up the ranks.

First RS game if this year. Might be a good player. I just played my first RS game of the year for the egg yesterday. Didn't last long.

I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but it seems to me if a player has less than 10 games online the AI works overtime to ensure they win and keep playing online.
I have had a couple of games lately where a guy with about 2-3 games in online and a bronze level bar, nothing but silver and bronze players in the lineup and they always seem to get that flukey blooper at the most critical time, or their pitcher getting every borderline call on the strike zone while I get the same pitch in the same location and it's a ball.
Those games I have had the lead until about the 7th or 8th inning only to see SDS AI become player of the game and steal the win for them. I am already a bad hitter, I do not need to have to beat my opponent AND SDS AI.

bronze level bar? They dont even show level bars anymore.

The correct answer was you’re playing on veteran, how are you not expecting every pitch to leave the yard?
-
Veteran is horrible and compounds itself by having goons just starting out their season.
Pitching is also horrible this year. I used to be around 1.7 ERA now I'm 4 or 5 . Doesn't matter what I do I give up way more hits and homers this year. They need to speed up the ball on all star or something. Guys hit 102 mph FBs painted in the corners like it's nothing.

My apologies for not clarifying I am on 20 still.
