I was experiencing HEAVY frame drops making the game almost unplayable for the whole first week of the Show 23. It didn’t matter if i played moments, mini-seasons, conquest, and don’t even get me started with how bad online was to play. Got a ps5 2 days ago and OH MY WORD. The game is so smooth, i havent experienced a single frame drop. I played a game online because thats where it would be nearly unplayable on ps4 due to framerate issues… i have ZERO framerate drops playing online. Didnt even think that was possible because of connection delays while pitching/hitting. Stadium creator is awesome once you get the hang of it. If you’re thinking of going next gen, just DO IT. Finally getting a PS5 at the end of this week, can't wait but i may take a break from the Show for a bit to play Dead Space.
This is great to hear though. I think the rumors are probably true that this will be the last year The Show will be on PS4.

I'll get a PS5 or Xbox S next year, there should not have been a framerate drop, nothing has been added to franchise mode that should account for it.Although it better since the patch its still worse then last year.

I am still getting frame drops on the Series X I think it's more of the engine being extremely dated and not so much the hardware of the PS4/XBOX

Nope. Not letting SDS force me to spend 500 or more dollars on a new console when they released a game with massive glitches, no real upgrades to RTTS or franchise, downgraded graphics and sounds. They can put a crowbar in their wallets and hire the number of people to put a complete game together BEFORE launch.

I play on Xbox series x and I'm getting zero frame drops I think it's your system or connection. Check to see if your console needs a cleaning too
