Market Manipulations vs Stupid Buyers

If you are farming stubs and you have people trying to buy low on cards it becomes a battle of wit vs desperation. I see buy orders skyrocket 20-30% when there aren’t many orders in at lower prices. I understand not everyone that uses the market buys stubs but to see them put a desperation buy let alone multiple that’s that high of a mark up is extremely inept. If in turn this is SDS trying to avoid too much devaluation of cards for the people who farm its a little more understandable. If this is some one or some people that are just throughly not understanding what they are doing some simple math refreshers would be suggested to help your cause and others also. If you see a SELL NOW order for a player at for example 1030 and their BUY NOW is 1250 why would you drive up the SELL NOW price to 1100 and put in multiple orders? If you are in turn trying to flip for profit is there any sense in marking up the price to that extent. I wont go into details of other examples of this stupidity because then it may bring hoards of other people to the market to butcher the stubs mining community. I just am not understanding the inconsistencies.
