Can’t load RTTS saved career

This literally just happened to me. I was in the world series and when I came back from work to finish it, I got the same thing as everyone else. I still have my players progression but I have to make a new career. Should we all lose hope?

Legit nothing. It stays right at the main menu. You hit load save files, load the career and it just goes right back to the main menu like nothing happened
Why are you loading a file if you haven't started a new ball player? It's already loaded.
Just enter RTTS by using X instead of Square
That’s the thing, he does have a save as does everyone in this thread. But it won’t load our careers at all with X or anything else. Even though our saves are visible our only option is to start a new career.
Sorry, I've been nonstop RTTS for the past few days and haven't run into that problem at all. Switching between 6 different careers.
Is it a PS4/PS5/XboxX/Xbox1/Switch/PC? I have a PS5. My thought is it's a ps4 thing. To me, it seems most bugs are happening on that.

Nope mine is taking place on a Ps5. After 9 hours of gameplay. Still not fixed. Had to unwillingly start a new career. Just frustrating.

Same thing happened to me only one ballplayer and RTTS file on PS5 but won’t load

Just ran into this problem for the first time today. I’ve gotten my player to 97 overall and I’ll be really pissed if I lose it. I have a lot of hours to get him there and was hoping to get him to 99. PLEASE HELP, SDS!!!

I noticed it happened after I messed with my diamond dynasty team and told it to auto-generate best squad. I see my player on the bench. I have a theory it has to do with that but I can’t unequip him. I think if I can figure out how to reset diamond dynasty I can fix it. This is an enormous oversight from SDS. I’ve been backing this franchise for 15 years but they really let us all down.

I'm having the same issue I can see my saved game for the road to show but I can't load and open it. Waiting for a fix if it ever happens.

All I play is RTTS. Literally the only mode I touch. All of my progress has been lost at random and my only option is to start a new career as an 80 overall minor leaguer which kills any sense of progression. I deleted the game and will not be purchasing again. Last year it was that the progression was broken for months after release. This year it’s saves. I’m sure next year they will have an issue that completely burns the 60 bucks I spent on this game. It becoming a trend.
