Plug Pullers

Pipe dream I guess.

Wish they would put a cool down on plug pullers like they do on coop.
If you think freeze offs are bad now, just wait until you get put in the time out chair for quitting out of one. Especially when the cool down timer gets longer with each offense. That will just lead to more people who are losing their game trying to wait out their opponent.
Good idea in principal. Not a chance in hell SDS could implement it in an acceptable manner while freeze offs are still a thing. Considering the fact that they have been around since at least 17 when I started playing diamond dynasty, I doubt they will be going away any time soon.

That's a good point. I've only had one game freeze this year (my first RS attempt) and can only remember 1 or 2 last year all season.
Honestly, I would be ok with a 30 minute break or something, even if it wasn't my fault. Would like some kind of deterrent.
I've never quit a game and don't plan on doing it soon. I'll take my Ls when they come.

weird freezeoff question but if i were in a freezeoff on my ps5 and loaded the game on my ps4 would that let me play like normal or is that some sort of no no

Are you referring to an offline game?

I think this may have been at the tail end of MLB 21, but I know I was stuck in a freeze off on the PS5, and I booted up the Xbox and was able to keep playing there. The accounts were linked. Eventually when my opponent quit out a few hours later (he was losing by quite a bit, but tried to stick it out anyway) I got credit for both that win and the event wins I had from Xbox. I have no idea if that is still possible with 23 though, or if it works the same way when you are literally on the same PSN account as opposed to a linked PSN / Xbox Live.

That's wild, I've never heard of that.

i just thought of it simply because dual entitlement but I've never really wanted to test in just in case especially with the ban hammers going around but that probably will help alleviate a lot of the anger towards freeze offs if this is technically possible

I never understood how people can quit so fast. They can disconnect before the ball drops in the stands on homeruns. I tried once and by the time I clicked the PS button, went to close app, the stats had already counted.
I guess the only thing that makes it quicker is if they hit reset right on the Ps device. Unfortunately, mine is on the other side of the room so it complicates my dashboarding abilities -
Send the rage quitters my way. I don't require any kind of cool down timer.

Lower the stubs and XP gained for the next few games and keep stacking the punishment if they keep quitting. If you lost connection you’ll be fine in couple games. If you constantly quit mid homerun, the game should constantly lower the amount of rewards you receive. Games have done this for like a decade it isn’t complicated.
You played 10% of a game? Get 10% of the reward for the next one. I bet people figure out how to hit pause, quit, and confirm real quick.

When you get in a freeze off, turn your controller off, then on again. It’s worked for me 99 percent of the time.

Good tip
