Offline lag/ stuttering?

Downloaded the game a few days ago and when playing in offline games the stuttering is so bad. Announcers can’t complete a sentence and feels like I’m playing a 1996 game. I’m on xbox one and a normal TV anyone know how to fix it or has anyone had similar issues?

Not to that degree, but the first pitch of an inning is always laggy for me and I'm on a series X
