Where is on-the-field training?

Just to make sure I wasn't mistaken I re-watched the preview and sure enough, they said there would be on the field training this year. So where is it? Every off day I still get those mini-games (that I never play) to increase my stats. Please don't tell me this is only for next-gen consoles.

Thanks for the help. I see it now that some training is on the field and some is still the mini-game. I was under the impression all the training would be on the field. Wrong again.
