Bat Sound

Does anyone else hate the sound of hitting this year? It sounds like you're hitting with a wiffleball bat, and when you get a perfect perfect it sounds like a broken bat in real life. Who approved this change?

They sound real this year. If you go to a game, or are on a field you would hear similar sounds. The past the sounds have been like movie bat sounds.

Hey bro I am so old that when I started playing organized ball in 1964 all we had were wood bats. I played with a wood bat through High School. In 1974 when I played D1 college it was the first year the NCAA allowed metal bats. So with that said, I never heard a wood bat sound like they do on the show this year. That's after using one for 11 years. Could be because I don't hear as good as I used to but I don't remember the sound they are using in the game.

Maybe yall were using different trees back then. A type that is now extinct maybe?
But in all serious. I do notice the sound much better when headphones are on. And it sounds great. With no headphones I don't hear much.
