Can you not even start downloading the game until 12 EST or can you do it before and not play until 12EST?

I am guessing the former as I suppose no way to prevent offline playing early.

You can predownload it so it just has to do an update. I predownloaded mine the other day.

You can download the game now and it goes on a timer. At 11pm central you can open the game and start playing

You should be able to download assuming you got the Digital Deluxe version and not the standard one.

Glad you said it was a joke. As someone who buys a lot of games and reads too many forums you would be shocked how many people can't wrap their heads around the concept of a global release time.

The preload won't even start up until the release date/time for the version you have. But, you'll want to make sure you download it before release.
