I just watched the whole thing and they show Jeter (or it’s supposed to be but doesn’t look too much like him, at least I don’t think so) hitting in the game.

I imagine we'll get more to the stream than just the reveal. SDS knew Jeter was going on Fallon the night before... how else would Fallon have a copy of the game or atleast the game case/cover/box to show off the Jeter cover.
This is the biggest buzz that MLB The Show has had since Griffey got the cover and honestly it might surpass it given the spotlight that Jeter had throughout his career in comparison to Griffey who got injured which took a lot away from what could've been an even greater career.
