Anyone ever hear of this

When I go to turn off my console; it doesn't give me the option to do so.
After a game; I go to select the Power option but a blank screen comes up.
I can't even bring up any of the menus when I select an icon like 'Settings' etc.

I would boot into safe mode and rebuild the database and see if that fixes it
