No one's "making you" complete Showdowns and Moments to earn cards, with the exception of AS Robbie Ray.
When the only way to get a card is by playing Showdown and Moments I'd say they are making me.

Every card should be able to be earned by playing the CPU or online. Simple as that

My apologies. I left 2H Duke Snider off the list, who can only be obtained via Conquest.
Clearly, this makes the game unusably broken.

But fair enough, so you are ok with BR and WS rewards being earned through something like mini-seasons?

Why is it so hard to comprehend stuff around here? All I'm saying is there needs to be a way to unlock cards instead of playing Showdown or doing 40 moments. Let me accumulate a certain amount of game played XP.
Instead of making me waste hours on moments let me play online or offline.
