Okay whoever thinks it is okay to go up in the market by 100 or 1000 stub intervals is completely stupid. The market works like an auction, the idea of an auction is to get your item for the cheapest possible!!! WHO WANTS TO SPEND 1000 MORE STUBS?!? Especially when those 1000 stubs can go to another player! Go up in 1-10 stub intervals!

    Question: How does this sound??

    At auction
    "Artifact being sold, starting offer?"
"I'll start the bid at 5 dollars"
    "5 dollars going once, twice.."
    "10 dollars!"
    "10 dollars going once, twice.."
    "200 dollars!!!!!!"
    "200 going once, twice.."
    "1500!!!!!"

This is literally the stupidest thing I have ever seen! AND it is happening on the community market as we speak. Please, that card you are selling is more valuable and you lose stubs or that card you're buying is not worth 100 or 1000 stubs more then what it is already at. Go up in 1 stub intervals, that is all I ask! PLEASE!

But why would you want to get less for your card or spend more on a card? It doesn't make any sense!! Especially if you are trying to flip cards and make stubs..

Increasing or lowering the price by a decent amount can make the card buy or sell faster, that’s why most people do it.

This is really dumb. The whole point of an auction is to get them item. Period. Some people want to try and get the item for as cheap as possible and some people just want to get the item, so they try and push people out of the bidding by going up in higher intervals. Not everyone wants to spend hours a day canceling and redoing buy order for 1 stub at a time. Also, going up in higher intervals may make someone want to sell faster. If they see a buy order for 2000 more than the next order, they might sell now and cash in on the higher stub price before someone else does. So expecting everyone to simply go up 1 stub at a time is stupid.

I’m not trying to flip. I just want my stubs quickly without selling to the highest bidder. But sometimes I will sell to the highest bidder if it’s a small difference.

I don’t care about your stubs, I’ll sell for whatever I want, if it’s really that much of an undercut how about you buy the card and list it for what you want.

Sometimes I want a player immediately. I will bud up so I don’t have to wait. Sometimes I just want to sell my card between buy now and sell now price. So I’ll list it a lot cheaper.

Some of us like playing the game and not spending as much time in the auction house. I learned years ago that you don’t get better at the game spending too much time in the auction house. If someone keeps undercutting my price. I tank the value because I don’t have time for flippers.

Lol, people like this give flippers like me a bad image. I could care less who undercuts me. If you put yours down 100 stubs, I'll keep mine 99 stubs more expensive and wait it out, patience is key.

There is more then one way to the market and not everyone's trying to wring out every last little stub. Stop worrying how other people sell their cards.

But the lowest bid is what goes the fastest.

I’m glad you’re getting lambasted for this. We aren’t stupid, we understand how the market works, but if I want that player at this moment, I’m going to put up an order for 500 stubs more, solely due to the fact that I want it now. I’m pretty sure we all understand how it works, but the good news is, you can’t tell us how to spend our stubs

This. Sometimes you just get tired of undercutting by 1 stub each time and you just want to get rid of the card fast.

I do a lot of flipping on the site so if I keep getting undercut by a big amount I'll start undercutting them by 1 because how many times on the price is right has the $1 wager won.

My time is more valuable than fake vide game currency. If I want to bid by more than 1000 stubs so no one puts a bid above mine then that’s what I’m going to do

    This

It's all about patience. Some people just want to try out different cards and then sell them back to the market it's something I've done before and if you don't want to wait forever why not overspend a little bit. There are always ways to make stubs back anyway. Let people do what they want with the market.

Lol this peasant wants to get into a bidding war with video game currency over peanuts. Gimme my stubs when i demand them. If i got the card, i got the power! I hope threads like this make more people undercut by even more because they now know it interrupts the "flippers" strategy.
