Sounds like they are still trying to get the deal done but the Mets will most likely try to get some sort of clause or something that protects them if Correa gets injured again down the line

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if they try to make it less years or something. Since it hasnt bothered him since being a Major Leaguer. Might have to pay him more per year if they do get less years though. Something like 7 for 200 mil. Then again, dont know if his wife could live on that in NYC.

Now that this saga is over the Mets should switch gears and extend Pete Alonso and McNeil.

Its official. Correa is still a Twin. And will probably be playing with a chip on his shoulder to go along with the plate in his leg.
