Anyone know how to return a runner running from first, back to first besides r2. In the past I have held the left joy stick to the left, and pressed the o button. However, this doesn't seem to work this year. The same applies returning a runner to second or third (different direction on the joystick, and a different button).

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

Selecting the base runner you want to control with the left analogue stick and pressing O isn’t working?

people are just bad at baserunning, use the left stick to highlight the runner, then use O. If you press left but he has not reached third base yet, it will not highlight him. either use the left stick up, or in between second and third. look and see if hes actually highlighted.

I'm telling you, it's not working for me. I've been using this method for years, but he's not going back. Kind of tired of having runners hold up, and then wind up with two men on second.
Sounds like maybe it's working for you though. Perhaps my controller is bad, although it's not showing up elsewhere.

Usually I'm not having to return to second, so I haven't really tested up and triangle.
