NL finest showdown

This showdown has me defeated. I've never had trouble playing on veteran I usually play on all star but geez. These fielders are like 99 HOF. Getting a base hit is rare and the double plays they get are just laughable. I am usually able to beat showdowns but this one .. ugh... alcantara and Nola are easy but If I get past hunter Greene (6 times out of 50 because his 102 fastball is really 205 ) then I get smoked by Logan Webb. And the one time I got past Webb i hit into 3 double plays and my perfects hits were lined into a glove. Anyone else having trouble with this particular showdown?

I actually made it through this one on the first try. But yes the double plays, behind the back flips to first, bobbled grounder that’s slowly picked up and still thrown out are incredibly annoying.

Showdown has been a breeze this year, but I've also failed the NL Finest Showdown probably 3 or 4 times. I stopped trying because I am at like 800,000 XP on the program and the rest of the rewards are just useless The Show pack bundles, so I'm not going to waste my time. But it did feel harder than any other Showdown (aside from Extreme) that I recall playing this year.
The platinum glove defense of every single player in showdowns has been an annoying problem every year. At this point, you just have to expect any [censored] with a glove on his hand is going to play like Brooks Robinson.
EDIT: You can't even say b-u-m??? Come on.

There should have been an alternative to getting those last Finest cards besides the Showdown. That was something I hope isn't repeated this year. Or least made a little easier. A 6-0 showdown finish is really ridiculous. If you have to have showdowns, maybe split it in half and make 2 3-0 showdowns.
