I use pulse pitching. Probly one of the few who do. Does anyone else have the following problem: tell you’re put her to throw it 6” to 1’ outside and they throw it down the middle and it gets smoked. Not a result of missing your spot btw.

There is a clear sliver of RNG in the game.

It shows up most in Classic pitching.
    I honestly do not mind.

I use Meter pitching in Online but classic vs CPU.

once in a while i give up a homer to a 98/99 Mantle vs CPU when I am using 89 Saberhagen.

Wouldn’t you think an 89 rated Sabs would give up a homer to a 99 mantle??

For ratings to matter the RNG has to show up online as well otherwise all cards are the same.

I am honestly just good with what I get. The graphics and ability to see Jackie Robinson in a Dodgers uni in Dodger Stadium are great and for me override the RNG moment's.

    I use pulse.

More often than not, you need to look at the ring and plan for the pitch to be anywhere around that ring...it may even touch the outside of the ring. I seldom get the ball in the middle of the ring. Also, as the pitcher tires, the ball will move further out from the ring. As long as you take that into account, you'll be able to get the pitch pretty much where you want it to go.

Last year I was new to the game and played mostly offline only for the first 3 months or so. I stuck with pulse pitching because I didn't want to learn anything else as pitching was a chore for me. I am probably the only person today using pulse pitching while playing in rank in the 800's and making a run for World Series. It works for me, but I should stop being lazy and learn pinpoint.

I mostly stick to pitchers who have a ton of control or can overcome the control with power pitches.

You’re not the ONLY one. I made it to 850 earlier this year. My issue is this, I was pitching a helluva game with the new Kershaw card. My opponent was really struggling. He was a WS player. I was up 4-2 going into the 9th. Kershaw pitch count was high and he was on fumes so I brought in Alvarado to pitch the 9th as he had two lefties coming up. He immediately hits two bombs on pitches I purposely threw out of the zone. That’s my issue.
