For frock’s sake, this sucks so bad. Frickety, frackers, fruck. F F F F.

Seriously, I can’t hit outlier no matter what I do. I don’t get it. Anyone out there old and there reflexes just aren’t fast enough? Suddenly in the past month or so (was bad before but not like this), I have no chance. Even when I’m all cued up to sent quick. And then if they start dropping in off speed, I’m so out of whack trying to keep up with fastball that Im way in front.

    Aaaarrrggh. F.

I feel your pain. I'm playing 21 and I am awful online so I stick mostly to RTTS and play the computer in DD. I had the hitting difficulty set to dynamic on RTTS and did fine all the way through All Star and even a little into HOF but as I got closer to legend I just couldnt hit anything. Late on the fastball, way out in front of the off speed, and swinging at every 59 footer they threw me. I finally relented and went back to veteran difficulty but I think I'm ruined lol. I make solid contact about once a game and still strikeout way too often. I have had to resist throwing my xbox out in the street.

Yeah, I wondered tonight if my eyesight, hand-eye coordination and reflexes are just too shot to hit fastballs anymore. Sadly, I think age has caught up with me and maybe I have to just be realistic about that. Wish not, but not worth getting upset about.

If you know you're already getting up in age, I wouldn't spend any time at all worrying about hitting outliers. I'm 62 and if I spent time wondering about stuff that I could do when I was 30 I would be some kind of mental case. It's all good. Just put in some extra practice

I wish we had games like this when we're 30. 😂

To play "online" back then, I would get a bunch of guys to come over to our apartment with their PCs (which was no small feat) and connect our network cards in a serial formation. We would play games all weekend. Man, my wife was understanding beyond belief.

I remember the lan parties. We always had good games because nobody was cheating. Mostly simulator type games. I wonder whatever happened to that stuff. It's all first person shooters now which I can't stand. We had a worldwide combat mission club (a great world war II game) and we would have lan parties in different places in the country, because there was always somebody with a boatload of money who owned a lot of houses where we could crash. This is when the HBO special "Band of Brothers" was just being aired

Buy a monitor and you have a fighting chance.
To me if we smashed every ball we had a good guess on it would be unrealistic.
Guys strike out in mlb when they know whats coming plenty.

Perhaps if SDS gave us a button to break our bat over our knee we would feel better. 🤪

Them 2017 Astros cheated their way into a championship 😂😂.
Them or mlb should not be proud of it.
