I accidently put my order in for 10 mil so by the time i got it fixed I was order number 513.
Regardless having the BR program done and not much else to do I am just gonna try to grind 250 innings. Use it as an opportunity to play casually online and not worry about the results. I think I can easily make 250 innings before my order fills at this point. I dont expect Randy to fall below one mil and if you dont have an order in already you might not see him for months without earning him

You never took an economics class, did you?
You have this upside down bud (and BTW I have a degree in business economics).
Time in game is meaningless this late in the cycle. If they offered him for 1 million stubs some casuals might come back into the game and drop some real life $$$ to buy stubs and try him out before the game dies. No point in doing that when he is impossible to buy.
SDS gets nothing out of forcing dudes who have 5 million + stubs to play 50+ sweaty hours of Ranked Seasons to earn the Big Unit.
Per my math, it's more like 20 hours. I just play 1 ranked game, or 9 innings per day ( whichever comes first). It's not a terrible grind if you spread it out.
That's nearly a month of play to earn his card. Won't the game be over by the time you get him?
Sure but if you are still enjoying the game what else is there to do. Content is basically done, so might as well work towards something.

yep, that last roster update was bank. I am probably somewhere between 15-20 mil stubs with Mantle already so theres nothing else to spend on

The two people that already have Milestone Randy at parallel 5, really need to touch grass, or snow, or whatever. Just maybe turn the console off.

Im 5-0 in ranked so far so hopefully I can make a run for WS which Ive never been able to hit. Got stuck in the 850's last season when I hit a brick wall and couldn't hit the ball. I fell apart after I lost a game 11-10 at 840ish and let up 4 runs in the 9th.

Only one Randy has sold according to the sold history wonder how accurate that is. Any one has any guesses how long a order placed around the 300 mark might take to go through? A Month maybe two

There should be at least 2000 people who make World Series, which means anyone at the 2000+ mark should get it in mid-December at the latest.

Where u get that number from ? . Have my doubts that many people make WS this late even more so plenty won’t sell there Randy. what’s the point nobody needs stubs and everyone has every card they want at this point .

Those who get Randy for making World Series are probably dedicated Ranked Seasons players who will most likely also hit the 250 inning threshold to obtain a duplicate.

Gotta find a way to make it a “fun grind.” Like another person said, go in not caring about a loss or getting rocked - just get those innings and try and P-level some of my guys up. We’ll see…

That's what I'm doing. This is my first shot at doing RS and it isn't really too bad. I did match up with someone who was like 500 games over .500 and got throttled, but for the most part it has been pretty even and a decent experience so far. Already at 56 innings.
