And the Angels sign Tyler Anderson to a 3 year deal worth 39 million.

The article headline always make me laugh: just saw one that was saying as a backup plan for losing out on Judge the Yankees had contacted a Mets slugger. The Slugger in question- Brandon Nimmo lol. I’m a Mets fan and love the guy but don’t know if slugger is how I would describe him

Congrats to the Phillies. That is a really long contract.
While a part of me would have liked him as a Cardinal I am not sure I would have wanted them to commit to that many years.

And with a full no trade clause, I can see this contract being a problem for the Phillies after 5 years or so, long contracts often don't work out, but the Phillies really want to win now so will see
