Curious why are some of my cards that I acquired previously gone?

I had so many more cards that I earned and they’re not not owned anymore for instance the cover athletes from all the shows I had all of them and now they just took em away? Like do they do that in DD? and there some players i paid over 100,000 in Stubbs for and they just vanished from my collection SmH

Means you either sold them, either on the market or maybe quick sold them from your inventory without noticing. Or you exchanged them.
